Each quarter we deploy new features, enhancements, and updates to the Connected Workplace solution, built on NOW. This time around we have brought improvements to many different modules that provide true business value to our customers. Here is a sneak peek at just some of the many exciting features that are available in the latest Nuvolo Connected Workplace release.
OT Cyber Security
A surge in cyberattacks is putting innovation gains at risk, acting in opposition to the increases in productivity and flexibility of new intelligent connected devices. As more organizations start to connect their manufacturing and facilities assets, including clinical devices located in healthcare systems, the risks for cyber security is increased exponentially. Without the proper vulnerability tracking for these devices, it provides new opportunities for ransomware hackers to gain inroads. OT Cyber Security makes that possible with a full-featured, web-based solution that you can quickly integrate with your network security monitoring systems and IT network management solutions already deployed.
New OT Cyber Security features in this Fall release include an entirely new user interface (UI) for managing vulnerabilities of connected devices. It’s an interactive, real-time interface that allows security analysts and admins to quickly and conveniently create security tracking reports, and manage the NIST vulnerabilities along with the assets affected by them. This new interface also supports the implementation of CVSS risk scoring overrides and allows for faster decision-making regarding remediation.
New Tracking Report from OT Cyber Security Module
Times have definitely changed in the workplace this year. Facilities managers will need to support a different office environment in a post COVID-19 world as employees return to the workplace and beyond. Many organizations will now require employees to reserve a temporary workspace when they need to come into the office. To help our customers support their new workplace seating processes they can leverage our modern space reservation system.
Some new features include:
- Allows users to view available workspace options and make reservations remotely using a mobile device
- Provides floor map visibility into other employee seating locations to help promote teamwork within departments
- Remembers user preferences so they can easily reserve the same workspace the next day or the following week
The solution introduces a new UI for managing space reservations with an interactive, real-time viewpoint that allows users to make reservations from a schedule, floorplan, or an available list of existing workspaces. The Space Reservation feature is available from both a desktop browser and the ServiceNow mobile application.
